“alive” is an annual festival where creators working in 2D art gather to share their skills and passion. Along with the most recent Live2D information, there will be lectures and exhibitions by leading companies in the 2D industry.
Celsys sponsored “alive 2025,” a creator festival hosted by Live2D that took place in December 2025 at the Akihabara UDX Gallery.
In addition to an interactive Clip Studio Paint exhibit, Celsys held a session titled "A Course on Using Clip Studio Paint for VTuber Design" with Hamaru, who has worked on numerous VTuber designs. In the session, key points for creating eye-catching characters with Live2D, as well as useful Clip Studio Paint features while designing, were discussed.

The event featured the most recent Live2D production examples, as well as lectures by leading companies and creators in the industry, such as Cover Corporation, operators of VTuber agency “hololive production,” and ANYCOLOR Inc., operators of VTuber/Virtual Liver group“NIJISANJI.” There were also career consultations, such as portfolio critiques, recruitment and outsourcing, social gatherings, and an exhibition of devices and services for creators. Live 2D modeling creators, as well as illustrators, and students attended the event and took this opportunity to make more connections.

Celsys sponsored "alive 2024", a celebration of creators hosted by Live2D, which was held at Akihabara UDX in December 2024.
Live2D Inc.'s Live2D technology makes it possible to move illustrations three-dimensionally while maintaining their appearance and is notably used in various mobile games. Celsys' illustration, comic, webtoon, and animation app, Clip Studio Paint, was used in many cases to create Live2D illustrations, which led to Celsys sponsoring the event.
This event featured a lecture with illustrator Mito Nagishiro (凪白みと) on how to use Clip Studio Paint to create VTuber designs.
