Celsys will implement a price revision for Clip Studio Paint, its illustration, comic, webtoon, and animation app. In order to strengthen the ongoing development system and improve profitability, we will revise the prices of the one-time payment model, which accounts for approximately 40% of our revenue, by an average of 10%.

The price revision will be implemented for the major version upgrade scheduled for March, 2026.
With the goal of securing stable mid-to-long-term revenue, Clip Studio Paint focuses on offering licenses via a subscription model while simultaneously providing a perpetual license (one-time purchase) model. Users of previous versions of the perpetual license version can subscribe to access the new version or purchase a version upgrade.
The one-time purchase model aims to maximize revenue by augmenting the subscription model, contributing to revenue through promotions for user acquisition and meeting the needs of users who are resistant to subscription models.
Celsys will continue to improve profitability through major version upgrades, investing in the development of new functions for Clip Studio Paint, and providing a better creative environment for creators worldwide.
Trends in ARR and churn rate of the subscription model SaaS service Clip Studio Paint, and sales total including the one-time payment model are disclosed monthly in the "Monthly Business Progress Report" on the IR page of the corporate website.
