Clip Studio Paint, the illustration, comic, webtoon, and animation app developed and distributed by Celsys, is sponsoring the KMA AWARD: MANGAKA DISCOVERY, a new comic contest hosted by Kodansha. This contest aims to discover and nurture diverse talent from the next generation of manga creators worldwide.
As the comic app preferred by professional manga artists, Celsys is providing Clip Studio Paint licenses to the contest winners to support them in their journey. We also aim to increase awareness of the Clip Studio Paint brand worldwide through joint marketing of the contest with Kodansha.

KMA AWARD: MANGAKA DISCOVERY
This event aims to discover and nurture manga artists from around the world as part of the “
KODANSHA MANGA ACADEMY” launched by Kodansha. Editors from across Kodansha's comic editorial department will participate as judges to discover a wide variety of talent. The Grand Prize winners will be guaranteed serialization on Kodansha's Japanese and global digital manga platforms, and the top 100 shortlisted artists will receive individual feedback from editors to provide practical support to make their commercial debut.
