May 14, 2026, Tokyo – Clip Studio Paint is excited to announce its sponsorship with Otafest this year again. Otafest is a Japanese pop culture convention which takes place on May 15 to 17 in Calgary, Canada. Throughout the weekend, attendees will have the chance to meet
and interact with local and international celebrities, including voice actors, musicians, artists, cosplayers, drag artists, and other fans who share the same interest. At the event, Clip Studio Paint artist hannanodaa will host a live drawing session.
Otafest will feature anime screenings, on-site competitions, gaming stations and more, along with over 100 exhibitors and artist booths. This two-day event goes beyond showcasing celebration of Japanese pop culture and anime, but also creatives as well. Clip Studio Paint will be proudly supporting the fellow creatives by providing Clip Studio Paint PRO licenses to all artist alley booths as well as sponsoring a live drawing session with a talented artist, hannanodaa. She will be showcasing how to turn an illustration into a ready-to-print sticker using Clip Studio Paint and introducing her favorite features and assets.
