Tokyo, May 18, 2026 – Today Celsys announced the winners of the 47th International Illustration Contest “My Color Palette.” The Grand Prize this time goes to Japanese-Peruvian artist Yoishikata for their vibrant artwork inviting viewers to the mysterious and glamorous world of colors. Of the winning artwork, Yoishikata said “I represented colors as birds to show the freedom of colors in art and how they can inspire you and other people to keep creating and by doing this, creating a space of boundless creativity.”

Celsys’ 47th International Illustration Contest was held from March 17, 2026, to April 8, 2026, on the theme of “My Color Palette”, receiving 3,563 entries from all over the world. After careful judging, 1８ entrants were selected as prize winners, while 15 entrants were randomly selected to receive license gifts.There were also many entries for the Timelapse Award, where contestants can submit a timelapse video of their process. Winners of the Timelapse Award were selected by lottery and received an activation code for Clip Studio Paint PRO. Meanwhile, five illustration category entrants were selected at random for the Challenger Award, and five entries drawn with a smartphone were selected for the Smartphone Award. The winner of the Illustration Grand Prize receives US$2,000.
Celsys, the developer and distributor of the illustration, comic, webtoon, and animation app Clip Studio Paint, regularly holds illustration contests open worldwide, and will continue to offer more opportunities for creators to showcase their talents.
