CELSYS, Inc. (the “Company”) has expanded its integration with WEBTOON CANVAS, WEBTOON Entertainment’s self-publishing platform for webcomic creators, to accelerate the global expansion of webcomics. The update now supports seven languages for the direct posting feature from Clip Studio Paint, adding Spanish, French, Indonesian, Thai, Traditional Chinese, and German alongside English.
With this integration, the Company provides a seamless environment from creation to posting for creators in regions such as Europe and Southeast Asia, where the webcomic market is rapidly growing, and aims to acquire and retain new users in overseas markets. Since September 2021, the Company and WEBTOON Entertainment have formed a
technical alliance and will continue working together to improve the efficiency of content creation, translation, and distribution, while fostering growth across the market.
In addition, the Company will be running a promotional campaign in August for Clip Studio Paint on WEBTOON CANVAS, including support for the newly added languages. This campaign aims to raise awareness among international creators and increase market share.
