In October 2025, Celsys held a Clip Studio Paint seminar for production managers and animators at Bandai Namco Filmworks’ in-house production studio, SUNRISE Studios.
 

The seminar  covered practical knowledge and ideas on how to use Clip Studio Paint to facilitate smooth animation production in a professional environment.

Comments from attendees included “I had been thinking about starting to create keyframes digitally, so it was good to learn all the basics I wanted to know” (animator in the keyframe team), and “I use the app on a daily basis, so it was great to learn how to better use its functions to work more efficiently” (production team member).

Celsys first developed and released “RETAS!,” Japan's first commercial animation production software, and now develops Clip Studio Paint, a painting application that enables a seamless production experience for illustrations, comics, manga, and animation. With a core strength in graphics technology, Celsys has been supporting animation production through over 30 years of in-house development.

We will continue to maintain positive communication with studios and other workplaces in order to provide even better tools for animators and others involved in the animation industry.
