Celsys is cooperating with Sony Corporation to offer a total of 40 3D pose materials distributed by XYN Motion Studio, Sony’s integrated application for motion capture. The pose assets include all kinds of actions from sitting down to breakdancing, and can be applied to 3D models in the drawing app Clip Studio Paint as a reference for artists. The pose assets are available for free from June 26 on the material library Clip Studio Assets.(*1)

Clip Studio Paint includes 3D drawing figures to help artists when drawing characters in challenging poses or angles. Since Clip Studio Paint Ver. 3.1, released in July 2024, motion files in BVH format can be imported to Clip Studio Paint to pose 3D drawing figures with pose sequences.
To bring more pose materials to artists, Celsys collaborated with XYN Motion Studio, a motion production tool that allows creators to easily and accurately recreate motion as envisioned. Motion data for actions such as “sitting on a chair” and “breakdancing” were converted into numbered pose sequences that can be used in Clip Studio Paint.
Artists can apply the pose sequences onto 3D drawing figures in Clip Studio Paint and choose from a pose within the sequence, to help draw tricky poses in motion.

Clip Studio Assets is a service that allows users to download brushes, textures, stamps, 3D models, and other materials that can be used in Clip Studio Paint to assist in digital creation, as well as to upload their own original materials. Clip Studio Assets currently has more than 270,000 materials listed, with around 200 new materials being posted every day.
