Judge comment:
The comic truly shines through its dynamic paneling, expressive characters, and cinematic range of angles. Not only is this comic visually rich and full of personality, but also heartfelt when they discover the mystery behind the video game. (Michelle Lam)
A delightful read and beautifully drawn! The ending was extremely satisfying, to both characters and for myself as a reader. (Velinxi)
Open Category Award

Artist: Minji (민지)
Title: HOME SWEET HOME

Judge comment: A beautifully drawn comic that's both thought-provoking and tugs at the heart. The masterfully drawn watercolor style of the art manages to make the comic feel warm and somber at once. There's something very timeless about a story of a "young" robot looking to find its place in the world, and this was a well-executed spin on it, elevated by the paneling, colors and choice-character designs. “Memory” Category Award

Artist: v-0-3
Title: The Memory of You

Judge comment: “The Memory of You” is a visually breathtaking comic, filled with beautiful character designs, immersive world-building, and action sequences that are pure eye candy. Beyond its stunning art, the story reveals a bittersweet, tragic, and ultimately hopeful narrative that pulls readers in emotionally. The connection between the two main characters and their backstory left me fully invested. I’m genuinely excited to see where their journey goes next. (Michelle Lam)
