“alive” is an annual event where creators that use 2D expression gather and share their techniques and passion. In addition to the latest information on Live2D, talks and exhibits by leading companies and top runners in the 2D industry were also held.

Celsys sponsored "alive 2024", a celebration of creators hosted by Live2D, which was held at Akihabara UDX in December 2024.

Live2D Inc.'s Live2D technology makes it possible to move illustrations three-dimensionally while maintaining their appearance and is notably used in various mobile games. Celsys' illustration, comic, webtoon, and animation app, Clip Studio Paint, was used in many cases to create Live2D illustrations, which led to Celsys sponsoring the event.

This event featured a lecture with illustrator Mito Nagishiro (凪白みと) on how to use Clip Studio Paint to create VTuber designs.
